God’s Gift Open or Don’t Before Christmas -by Lois Macdonald

Beautiful gifts, each wrapped in a divine tapestry of glorious colors, lay sleeping peacefully under the low spreading branches of the royal Christmas tree. At peace, knowing their Shepherd watches over them both by day and night.  “He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” Psalm 91:4 NIV.

Each gift is bound with ribbons woven together with threads of agape. Then sealed with a kiss from the same Giver whose sacrificial love surpasses all others. “We should be astonished at the goodness of God, stunned that He should bother to call us by name, our mouths wide open at His love, bewildered that at this very moment we are standing on holy ground.” -Brennan Manning.

The dilemma. “Open or Don’t before Christmas?” The decision you make could result in life or death! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him, should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16.

Do you hear God whispering, “reach under the tree and find the one with your name on it?” Please open now! “Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!” 2 Corinthians 9:15 (NJKV.)
